Meta is launching a new AI-powered creator assistant on Facebook. This tool helps creators turn their performance data into easy-to-understand content suggestions and ideas for growth.
Meta said the creator assistant will appear right in the Facebook dashboard. Creators can ask it questions about their content, audience, engagement, and performance. Rather than checking different charts, they can use the assistant to see what works, why some posts do better, and how to improve future content.
Meta calls the assistant a personalized creative partner. It gives recommendations based on each creator’s style, performance, community, and goals. Over time, the assistant learns what the creator wants, like growing their audience, boosting engagement, or making money.
How the AI assistant works
The new creator assistant on Facebook is conversational. Creators can ask follow-up questions and dig deeper into their page or content strategy. For example, they might ask why one Reel did better than others, when to post, or how their audience has changed.
Meta says the assistant gives useful answers based on each creator’s Facebook activity. It looks at things like audience behavior, engagement, content performance, and the creator’s main goals on the platform.
The assistant can also help creators who need new ideas. Meta says it acts as a brainstorming partner by using trends on Facebook, like popular audio, cultural events, and top content styles. This helps creators plan posts quickly and match what their audience likes.
Rollout starts in three countries
Meta is first launching the creator assistant in the United States, Canada, and India. The company plans to add more features soon and make it available in more countries.
TechCrunch reported that the launch may help Meta keep creators active on Facebook as the company competes with platforms such as TikTok and YouTube for creator attention. The report also noted that having an in-app AI assistant may reduce creators’ need to use third-party tools when brainstorming content ideas or reviewing performance.
For Facebook, this feature is not just about helping creators understand their data. It is also part of Meta’s bigger plan to make artificial intelligence a normal part of creating, discovering, and growing content on its platforms.
Facebook expands AI translations for Reels
Alongside the creator assistant, Meta also announced the expansion of AI-powered Reels translations on Facebook. The company said AI translations are being used to help creators reach new audiences by reducing language barriers.
Meta said more than half a billion Facebook users are now watching AI-translated videos weekly. The translations are designed to preserve the creator’s voice, sound, and tone, while an optional lip-syncing feature can make it appear more natural when the creator is speaking in another language.
Meta says it will soon add new languages, such as Arabic, Bahasa Indonesian, French, Thai, and Vietnamese. These will build on the AI translation feature that Meta launched last year.
Meta deepens its AI push for creators
The new creator assistant and expanded AI translations show how Meta is positioning Facebook as a more AI-assisted platform for creators. Rather than only giving creators raw analytics, the company wants to provide direct recommendations, content ideas, and tools that can help them reach more viewers.
As competition for creators grows, Meta’s latest update shows that Facebook wants to be more helpful. The platform aims to support creators not just in publishing, but also in planning, analyzing, and growing their presence.
