London-based Metaview has raised $60 million in Series C funding as the recruiting software company expands from interview intelligence into AI agents that source candidates, screen applicants and coordinate hiring workflows.

The round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural and Garuda Ventures, bringing Metaview’s total funding to $110 million.

The Next Web separately reported that the company now works with more than 7,000 customers and plans to grow its workforce from 80 people to 250 by the end of next year.

Recruiting software is moving from recording to acting

Metaview began as a system for capturing and analyzing interviews, but its next phase is built around agents that take on more of the recruiting workflow.

The company says its autonomous recruiting coworker, Fillmore, can source candidates, write personalised outreach, manage follow-up and book screening calls. It is also developing a dedicated AI screening agent.

That changes the role of recruiting software.

Traditional applicant-tracking systems mostly organize data after humans create it. Agentic systems are beginning to participate directly in the process that produces hiring decisions.

The Next Web reported that in one example described by CEO and co-founder Siadhal Magos, AI sourced, researched and contacted 52 candidates and booked five screening calls. The eventual hire moved from first contact to signed offer in 30 days.

Application volume is becoming part of the problem

The funding arrives as AI changes both sides of hiring.

Insight Partners says applications per recruiter have increased 412%, while 72% of candidates now go at least 30 days without receiving a response.

The investor argues that recruiting teams are handling this higher application volume with much the same headcount and technology stack.

That creates an unusual feedback loop.

AI makes it easier for jobseekers to discover roles and produce applications. Employers then adopt AI to process the larger pool those tools helped create.

Metaview is betting that the solution is not another point product but a system in which agents share context across sourcing, interviews and application review.

Hiring automation raises a different quality question

Metaview says the platform has captured more than six million recruiting interviews, giving its systems a large body of hiring context to work from.

For companies, the attraction is obvious: recruiters can spend less time sorting applications and coordinating repetitive tasks.

But hiring is also an area where automation has unusually direct human consequences.

A coding agent can produce a bad function that an engineer reviews. A recruiting agent can decide which candidate gets surfaced, contacted or screened before a person ever sees the full applicant pool.

That makes the next phase of recruiting AI less about transcription accuracy and more about how much judgment companies are willing to delegate before the final interview.

Metaview’s $60 million round is therefore not simply another AI funding story.

It shows recruiting software moving from recording human decisions toward actively shaping which decisions humans get to make.
